如果，大家还不知道，JOjo 在NTU的日子所乘无几。
在NTU的日子，忙忙碌碌，完全没有休息的空间。一学期紧跟着一学期，不停不停地学习，在加上边上课边打工，完全没有空挡。假期也完全被假期工和团体/学会的活动埋掉了，呜呜呜~
就这样，三年的时间，一眨眼就快结束了。大三的第二学期过的更是快得可怕，繁重的课业简直把JOjo压得喘不过气啦！当大伙都还在埋头苦读准备迎战期末考试的时候，JOjo已经默默地踏入实验室，开始了她的毕业课题，英文里称之为Final Year Project。
毕业课题，在科学领域里，当然是跟试验有关系啦。为了这个毕业课题，JOjo还真是牺牲了不少呢！放弃了去台湾的假期、两个月没踏进祖国一步，更别说是回到我那舒适的家！哇，超级难过的咧~ 最近更是进入了另一个境界，完完全全被毕业课题征服、成为实验室里的俘虏。
无形的压力虽然没有显现出来，JOjo的脸上还是挂着常有的微笑，但疲劳的身躯及精神上的疲惫却一点一点地曝露出来。常打困、头脑紧绷、常忘了把文件从房间带出来是常有的事，或者又突然非常亢奋而哼起歌儿来，姨妈两个月都不想跟我做朋友等等... ... 而且，这两个礼拜以来我每晚都猛吃零食、小饼干、小甜点，情况完全不受控制！！！天呀，不肥都假~ 来人呀，快把我视线范围内的食物都拿走吧，否着后果肯定不堪设想！感觉上在我肚子周围的游泳圈渐渐在扩张~ *晕*
哈啦了这么多，话说昨日赶论文的时候，写呀写，不知不觉就到了傍晚七点，本来打算没写完就别想回去 （我都说了，最近都埋没在实验室里，从太阳公公到月亮婆婆，都快在实验室里扎营了我~）， 但千斤重的眼皮再使劲也挣不开。唉，JOjo最终竟然败给了自己的千斤重眼皮，难道是长胖了，连眼皮也重了起来？？？ *昏*
敌不过千斤眼皮，写也写不下去呀!挣扎了一下，无法决定是该在实验室里小睡一会儿，还是回房里休息。想想，也好一段时间没那么早回去了，更别说是休息。好吧，“休息是为了走更长远的路”，所以JOjo就匆匆收了收东西，赶紧回宿舍。澡也没冲，直接换上睡觉衣物，一倒床就睡着了。特意不调闹钟，就为了让自己有安逸的睡眠，也试图想看看自己有多累 = 能够睡到几点。哈哈，没想到我挺能睡的，一觉到天明，足足睡了十个钟头。今天跟实验室里的博士生们提起这件事，他们都说我之前太拼命啦，都快把自己累垮了。
总而言之，写论文还真是不简单，看看我就知道啦！
后言：不过昨天还是挺幸福的，中午没吃着绿豆汤，耿耿于怀了一个下午，傍晚安娜就捧着一大碗的绿豆汤进来给我们吃，神呀，你真是非常宠爱我、无时无刻的眷顾我呀~ *感动*
Finally a chance for me to savour good food with valid reason...
For those who know me well, by now, you know that i seldom dine out unless there is any special occassion. I am constantly on "$-saving" mode by default. I've been recently crowned, by my own beloved daddy, as the "bread-eating-surviving" girl, though my daddy doesn't really agree with it. *lol*
Anyway, my dad is a typical "China Man". He needs to eat on time, he needs rice or noodles, he prefer Chinese food. So when we were deciding between Fish & Co. and Crystal Jade, the answer is obvious.
La Mian with minced meat and preserved vegetables $7.00
Surprisingly delicious. My brother couldn't stop praising the texture of the La Mian. "No wonder it's famous for its la mian..." The soup was luxious and flavourful with a hint of spice. Gor gor finished the whole bowl of la mian without sparing the soup. No single drip of soup was left in the bowl.
La Mian with Chicken Soup $ 8.50
The La Mian and chicken soup was served separately. The la mian is very bland, or was it supposed to be eaten with the soup? But, how? Hmm.... *scratch head*
The bowl of chicken soup is very smooth and full of flavour of the chicken *lol* what am i talking here??? The taste of the soup which i believed it was double-boiled, was awesome! Sweet and fragrant. The chicken was boiled till its meat was separated from the bone and i enjoyed the breast meat very much, since my family members didn't like to eat chicken breast meat. So i "sapu" the breast meat. Better still, no one would fight with me. *wink*
Fried rice with Prawn, Chicken and Ham $ 8.50
Oh my, my mum ordered this. My dad was surprised so was I. So unlike my mum. Apparently the cough was such a nuisance and was torturing my mum. A very simple dish of fried rice but the verdict was: it was delicious! Each grain of rice was well separated and chewy. Not too salty nor oily. Chinese ham added the distinct flavour of a plate of chinese fried rice. The prawn was fresh, juicy and succelent. Simple yet delicious, bravo!
Shanghai Pork Dumpling a.k.a Xiao Long Bao $ 3.60
A signature dish of all Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao Chain. It was nice. Mum said it tasted nicer than the one we had at Boss @ Vivo, bigger and juicier. But for me, somehow something was amiss. Somehow the skin was a little bit too thick and the soup in the dumpling was a bit too little. I seriously didn't know what was wrong. *puzzled* But my parents like it nonetheless so it was good enough for me. Sometimes, Quality might fluctuate a little, i guess.
Stew Chicken Wings with fungus and mushroom $ 12.00
Served in a hot stone bowl. A dish i wanted to try since my first visit to Crystal Jade when i saw an old couple had it. Since then, it has been on my mind but i had got no chance to try. So i seized the oppurtunity, ordered as a side dish to savour together with our main. This dish is seriously worth recommending!!! The sauce was flavourful and the dried chillies added the kick for the dish yet it wasn't too spicy. Even my dad who can't take too spicy stuff enjoyed it! My dad topped his bland la mian with this sauce and commented that his la mian tasted better now. *haha* The chicken wings were well marinated and the black fungus and mushroon absorbed the abundant flavour of the sauce. Yummy Yummy~
Carrot Pastry $ 3.20
This was another dish which i wanted to try for quite a while. Due to the undeniable fact that i seldom dine out (couldn't help laughing to myself), i had again, no chance to try until now. *lol*
Nonetheless, my mum wanted to order this as well. Like mother like daughter, perhaps. The picture in the menu fascinated us and we both love pastry. This savoury pastry dish was delish. Raddish was fried and lightly flavoured with salt and pepper (i supposed?) wrapped in crispy pastry skin. Nice! I wonder is this dish served in dim sum restaurant?
Souffle egg white ball $ 4.50 for 3
First time trying for my family. I love this from my previous visit to Crystal Jade so i really wanted my family to try this. It was actually fried egg white with red bean paste filling with a slice of banana. Please don't ask me how they do it cause i'm trying to figure it out myself too. Anyway, a special chinese pastry dessert and my family loved it! The egg white layer was fluffy and each bite reminded me of marshmallow minus the sweetness. The red bean paste was not too sweet and surprisingly banana went well with red bean.
Four ballooned up stomach leaving the restaurant feeling satisfied. Especially my dad. He is a happy man when his stomach is well taken care of. *grin*

5th July 2008, @ 9.00pm, emergency sms to QQ calling for help. I wanted to make my parents and brother's stay in NTU as comfortable as possible but i forgot my room is meant for twin-sharing. Parents+bro+me = 4 people!!! *faint* No worries, my rescue was just an sms away. QQ "shuang-kuai-ly" "loan" her room to me. Super blessed with QQ in my life in NTU. She is very sweet and she knows me and understands me best (which is all together another tory).
@ 9.20pm, my parents and brother arrived at Hall of Residence 8, NTU. Poor them waited for 10mins (or more?) for their girl girl without knowing that she was taking her own sweet time in the bathroom... Bathing...
@ 11.20pm, KS (QQ's roommie) came back. But she was so sweet too~ Three of us ended up staying in one room =) *my mum was super worried her cough would affect KS' sleep*
6th July 2008, marked a special and memorable day for me and my family. We went to New Creation Church for the first time as a family as well as it was the first visit to New Creation Church for my parents and brother. I hope they enjoyed the service (which they said they did) and i was really blessed by my family. It was a desire of mine to be able to attend NCC with my family one day. And it came to past.
An Evident that We were here as a Family
Bringing my family to savour lots of good food was the least i can do for them. They seldom come to Singapore and now i am more able, i wish to bless them with the best i can afford. *wink*
But most importantly, i wish to introduce them to my beloved friends in church. A chance for my parents to know who are the ones i'm mingling with and a chance for my friends in church to know me and my family better =)

Booths were set up in front of OCBC open area.

Yes, we had hello kitty for our very own....
It was so funny to see people trying to scoop a goldfish from a plastic inflatable baby pool.
They tried all means and ways to get the goldfish into their given container.

Very funny scene. Entertaining indeed. Only at a fraction of the cost. SGD$1.
The entertainment value? Priceless.
Besides the Scoop-A-Goldfish, they also had a booth for Yukata photo taking. I'm not sure whether it's free or they need to pay, but it looked pretty fun! Btw, Yukata is the Summer version of kimono.
They were selling Meiji's product which i bought none. $$ constraint. But again, i want to declare, I LOVE MEIJI *nyek nyek nyek*

It was a long & tiring week,
eventhough it meant to be a short week,
with only 4 days,
Without Monday Blues~
Who knows that there was a Mistletoe Tuesday,
Which activated the whole lab to stay OT until 9++pm,
Meaning i had a 12+hrs of lab~ T.T
With a hungry stomach waiting to be fed.
Then came Wednesday which was disastrous,
Got reprimanded by my Big Boss,
For not practicing GLP,
Caught Red-Handed, My bad~ T.T
Then came Thursday,
Without much of a hiccup,
Beside not closing the column door properly,
Causing fluctuation of temperature of my HPLC~ T.T
Here it came, lonely Friday,
Which i thought it was,
FYP haunting my friends,
and I'm left all alone.
No that i had nothing to do,
Neither was i Bored,
Just feeling too tired,
Staying in NTU all week long.
A call at 4+pm changed it all,
Delighted, heart leaping in joy!

A refreshing dish. Covered with sesame and bits of dried seaweed, and crunchy french beans, corn, carrot & cucumber in the center.
I gotta shout, " I am loving it~"
Ebiko Temaki @ SGD$2.10
Yup, it's a Temaki, but not with the normal seaweed wrap that you see. It's wrapped with crepe. Together with the crunchy salad leaf & the fried bacon stripe, i never know temaki can taste so GOoooD!!!
Maybe is the bacon... Maybe it's the Ebiko... Or maybe, it's because of the mayo they added that makes all the different. Or maybe, it's the cheapest of them all, the salad leaf???
Who knows?
But i fell in love with bacon for the first time.
Unagi with Cheese Sushi @ SGD$ 3.90
I gotta shout, I gotta Shout, I gotta SHOUT!!!
This is not the ordinary thinly-sliced-until-u-can't-taste kind of Unagi. This is the premium Unagi that you get on the Unagi Don!!!
The thick flesh of Unagi melting in your mouth before it burst into its full flavour. Enhanced with the flavour from the sliced Cheddar cheese&seaweed hidden between the Japanese rice, who could resist the heavenly-match sushi?
Especially to someone who loves both Unagi and cheese...

A typical Inari Sushi caught my friend's attention. Nothing uncommon but nothing to complain about. It's just Inari Sushi.
Curry Chicken Katsu Don @ SGD$11.90
Jim Jim always wanted to try Japanese Curry. To his surprise (dismay perhaps?), he says it tasted exactly like the "ah neh's curry" aka indian curry when he was studying in UK. A tiny weeny bit of spice, more of the sweet curry. For me, its taste is comparable to the Japanese stall in the food court in NTU. Hmm... I like it, i like Japanese Curry. But if i can pay 1/3 of the price here to eat the exact dish in NTU minus the two slices of oranges and the bowl of miso soup, why should i order this out of school? *i wonder, wonder*

昨天下午被骂，做错事被逮个正着。
也不是什么大事，只是在化学实验室里没戴安全眼罩，
加上让Wash Bottle's Mouth动到Volumetric Flask,会Contamination。
可是，我在实验室里，一直都没有做错事；
Mentor对我超好，我跟他学了很多，也没被他凶过。
昨日，被大老板凶，非常严厉的凶了一轮！
结果，还要Dr Ong帮我解围，*被疼啦！*
不过最可怜的是，我害我的Mentor被大老板骂，
“小老师没教好学生……”
对不起，对不起，万分抱歉~ 呜呜~
被骂的时候，还真得有点想要哭，太脆弱了！！！
不是啦，其实是在家父母也没凶我，太久没被凶了啦~ 结果就想哭,完蛋了~
依稀记得最后一次有类似的感觉是在中五的时候吧！
那时是被老师冤枉，被责备，也是这种感觉。
可能从小到大，一直都很在乎老师对我的评价，所以被老师凶，会特别感到委屈和难过。
不管是被冤枉还是真的做错事。。。
